2018 marks Kick Butt Cafe’s 10th year in existence. Kick Butt means a lot of things to a lot of people and without the people, we would not exist. For that, we are eternally grateful and will continue to put on the best artists Austin has to offer and beyond. It is with great pleasure that we announce our 10-year anniversary show. We are gonna be doing 4 days of in your face music and artists. The break down of each day is below. Every night has artists we love and respect. If you want to see what is going on in the Austin music scene, come celebrate with us this weekend. Again, thanks to all the artists and patrons that have made Kick Butt a home over the last few years. This one’s for you. All money at the door will go straight to the bands. All shows are all ages. Drink specials and debauchery will happen all weekend. Share this event and invite friends. Come party with us into the future.
Saturday, Sept 15th
Saturday we are gonna start the festivities a little earlier with DJ Cap’n Jim and Heart and Soul Sound System spinning records from 2-4pm. During this time we will be giving away free beer (until it is gone) to anyone that is 21 and up as well as raffling away prizes. Captain Jim will be spinning killer tunes and the bands will start at 4pm.
At 4pm strap in your senses cause the line up till we close is insane. Come head bang and mosh with us all night. We will also be celebrating Shitty Advice’s record release and capping the night with a rare performance from the Beltones. Admission is $12. Click links below band names to check out the bands.
