A new year has come and gone and come back around again… or has it? It’s been hard to really keep track of time these days. I’m sure you can relate. As a band, we’ve just kind of been milling around in this holding pattern kind of thing. Booking shows again but then having to cancel, then re-booking them to have them canceled… I don’t need to go into much here. If you’ve been alive and aware, you already know the story and have probably heard it a million times. And what strange times. And yet, here we are. We watched our 10 year anniversary come and go without any fanfare and we witnessed a brand new record and tour just kind of wither in the wind. We played a few live sets online and released a few videos to keep the momentum but in the end, that fatigue just kind of brings on the inertia and you’re finding it hard to get going again without something around you seeming normal.

I won’t write an overly-long missive about the experiences we and every other musician/band/poet/performer/artist/etc are going through. You know the tale already and I imagine you’d not want to hear it anyway. I think we are all beyond tired of this. But just know, we’re still here. Strumming guitars in living rooms, sending each other new ideas, listening to records, learning new skills, losing our minds, hanging out with our dogs, looking at stars… We are still here and we plan on making new music. Maybe sooner than later. In the meantime, we thank you all for the support over the years. It keeps us going just knowing there are those of you out there who want to hear what we do and we appreciate it.
